Bernardo Silva opened the scoring in the 21st minute, capitalizing on a deflected cross from Nuno Mendes. A comedic own goal by Turkish defender Samet Akaydin seven minutes later extended Portugal's lead. Substitute Ruben Neves then set up Cristiano Ronaldo, who unselfishly passed to Fernandes for an easy tap-in to seal the win. Portugal now lead Group F with six points, three ahead of Turkey, and five ahead of Georgia and Czech Republic, with one match remaining.
