Andre Drummond has agreed to a two-year contract worth $10 million with the 76ers.
Andre Drummond is poised to sign a two-year, $10 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, sources confirmed to ESPN, echoing multiple reports.
Returning to Philadelphia where he started the 2021-22 season before being traded to the Brooklyn Nets in the James Harden deal, Drummond will provide the 76ers with a top-tier backup option behind former MVP Joel Embiid, who dealt with a significant knee injury last season.
After playing behind Nikola Vucevic in Chicago for the past two seasons, Drummond, who turns 31 in August, has carved out a role as a dependable backup center. Known for his prolific rebounding, he averaged 9 rebounds in just over 17 minutes per game last season, and nearly 18 rebounds in his 10 starts.
Drummond's previous contract was a two-year, $6.6 million deal with the Bulls signed in 2022.
