Former Oregon cornerback Khyree Jackson dies in Maryland car accident
Minnesota Vikings rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson tragically lost his life in a car accident early Saturday morning in Maryland, confirmed by authorities and the team.
Jackson, aged 24, was among three individuals who perished in a multi-vehicle collision in Prince George’s County, as reported by Maryland State Police.
In response to the devastating news, the Vikings issued a statement expressing their profound grief, having communicated directly with Jackson's family.
“I am deeply saddened by Khyree’s passing,” remarked Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. “Throughout our interactions during the draft process, we witnessed his determination to achieve both on and off the field.
